FAQ for Parents
Swingset Images has both the experience and ingenuity to make your school photo day a blast for kids and easy for administrators. Listed below are all of the considerations we make or this special day.
Before Picture Day
Keep kids relaxed and ready to be themselves. We will absolutely take that one “yearbook” picture and then kids will be encouraged to be happy, silly, serious, or however they feel at that moment. You will have all of them to choose from!
We always try our best to photograph the kids as they started the school day but will provide fresh combs, spray bottles, face wipes, and a mirror for our parent volunteers to assist with if needed.
A good night sleep and a good breakfast always helps with mood and a good photo!
Before Picture Day
HAIR PREP
If you have a specific hairstyle that you want please let the teacher know in advance or send a note on picture day. Please remember that special hairstyles are difficult to maintain throughout the day and may not look the same prior to their photo being taken.
BOYS – please try to comb the “bed-head” out on photo day.
GIRLS – All hairstyles work although we recommend keeping hair out of the eyes by using pony tails, pigtails, headbands, clips, or barrettes so as to keep tidy throughout the day.
Before Picture Day
CLOTHES
Select your child’s outfit in advance and have it laid out the night before. Keep it simple—clean clothing, solid colors or very simple pattern. Avoid spaghetti straps (shoulders look best covered in photos) and logo or graphics on T-shirts as they distract from faces.
We try to photograph children with and without their glasses. If your child has transitional lenses please know that if we are doing photos outside the lenses will turn dark so we will try our best to remove the glasses so they can transition back before the photo. Some students may choose to take their glasses off or keep them on for the entire duration of their session.

COMMUNICATION
All communication is done via email. Please always check junk folder for possible correspondence. For further questions or support please use HELP button at top of page.
ORDERING
Emails will contain the link to your student’s personal gallery. If you do not find your email order link and the checked junk folder does not contain an email from Swing Set Images or no-reply@imagequix.com, please use the HELP button at top of the page.
YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
How can I access and order my photos online without the link using only the access code?
Once your child's photos are taken and are ready to be viewed, you will receive an email communication advising you of your child's unique online code. With this information, simply visit our website, click on the ORDER Button at top of the page and input your code to view your child's online photo gallery.
When will the images be available for viewing?
An email will be sent out 7-14 days after the photo day with a link to your student’s gallery.
How long will it take for my pictures to arrive for free delivery?
Your printed enlargements will take approximately 2 weeks after the delivery to school deadline. This is roughly 4-5 weeks after the actual photo day. Digital downloads when ordered are sent immediately.
Can I Place one order for multiple children?
Yes. Please have both gallery link emails available. Go into first child’s gallery and add items to cart. Then click the blue CHANGE GALLERY link at the top of the gallery page. Enter the second child’s online code located at the bottom of the email and continue adding to the order.
Why does my high resolution digital file appear to be a small size?
Downloaded images will have a smaller file size. Please open the images to see the full resolution size. All images go through processing and therefore Raw images will never be provided. All of our images are guaranteed to reproduce prints up to 11x14 inches. Should you need a print larger than 11x14 please reach out to us.
What if I am unhappy with my photos in any way?
For most schools there is a retake day scheduled. Please absolutely sign up if you are not 100% happy with your initial photo day picture selection. Please reach out to us using the HELP button at the top of the page so we can help for all other inquires!
